There are moments when we need to stop, to enjoy where we are. Otherwise, we miss too much while getting things done.
On some days, even in this beautiful place, walking can become something that just requires doing – an item on The List.
So, I’m practicing. Trying to remember to stop, to relish a singular moment and draw it into memory. To file it away for later.
Yesterday, I spent one of my stops along the foot of Grasmoor. It was a wet week and water is gurgling toward lake, river and sea.
Thought I’d share it; here, listen…
I hope you take a moment to stop, to soak in where you are and how far you have come.
Let the memory soak down into you – the way these waters flow to the depths of the sea and become the sea itself.
